From a gap in network marketing to 543 paying users: the NMFormula story
After six to seven years inside network marketing, Deepesh kept seeing the same thing: plenty of motivation, very little method. People were told to believe harder, but nobody showed them how to generate leads, close sales or grow a team with modern tools. NMFormula is the app he built to fix that, and Ideaunch is how he got from the idea to paying customers.

The problem: network marketing runs on motivation, not systems
Network marketing is full of energy. Calls, events and posts all push the same message: believe in yourself and keep going. What's missing is the practical side. Most people in the industry don't know how to generate leads online, follow up properly, close a sale or train a downline that duplicates.
Deepesh had lived this for years. He knew the gap was real because he had felt it himself. What he didn't know was what the solution should actually look like as software, or whether anyone would pay for it.
The idea: one app that replaces the guesswork
The idea was simple to say and hard to shape: a web app that gives network marketers a real plan, built around their own company and compensation plan, plus AI coaches for every part of the business.
This is where most founders get stuck. An idea isn't a product. Which features matter first? How many tools does it need? What should the screens look like? How long will it take to build, and is there real demand? Deepesh took the idea into Ideaunch to answer those questions before writing a single line of code.
Validation and planning in Ideaunch
Ideaunch checked the demand first and showed where the buyers actually spend time. Then it turned the idea into a full blueprint: a flowchart of the app, the framework, the list of features and tools, the UI/UX for every screen, and a realistic estimate of how long the build would take.
The plan became eight connected parts: a 10-question onboarding that reads the user's compensation plan and researches their company, a dashboard with a 3-month goal pyramid (recruits, network size, leads, ad budget, content, daily time and income for each month), and dedicated AI coaches for Instagram, organic platforms like Pinterest, Quora, Reddit and LinkedIn, Facebook ads, team building and daily tasks, plus a general coach that knows the user's whole business.
From blueprint to a working app in Lovable
With the plan locked, Ideaunch wrote the build prompts step by step, ready to paste into Lovable. Ideaunch did the thinking; Lovable did the building. Because every prompt came from a finished plan, the build moved in a straight line instead of the usual loop of trying, breaking and re-prompting.
The result is a browser-based dashboard that remembers each user by email, so returning users never have to onboard twice. Every AI coach stays inside its own specialty and redirects other questions, and the whole system follows the NMFormula approach: no cold calls or cold DMs, just funnels, ads, content and automation.
Selling it: Ideaunch pointed to Reddit
Building is only half the job. Ideaunch's market research pointed to Reddit as the place to sell, so Deepesh launched with Reddit organic posts and Reddit ads aimed at network marketers looking for a better way to grow.
Today NMFormula has 543 users paying $8 a month, and it keeps growing as new subscriptions and features are added.
What's next: Meta ads, planned by Ideaunch
The next channel is Facebook and Instagram ads. Ideaunch is already planning the campaign: which countries give the cheapest quality clicks, which audiences to target and which creatives to test first. The same brain that planned the app is now planning its growth.
I had the problem and the idea, but I didn't know what features to build, what the UI should look like, how long it would take, or where to sell it. Ideaunch gave me all of it: the flowchart, the framework, the design, the exact prompts for Lovable, and the market to sell in. It played a vital role in getting NMFormula to 543 paying users.
Questions people ask
What is NMFormula?
NMFormula is a web-based dashboard and AI coaching app for network marketers. It builds a 3-month goal plan from the user's own company and compensation plan, and gives them AI coaches for Instagram, organic traffic, Facebook ads, team building and daily tasks.
Can you build an app for network marketers without coding?
Yes. NMFormula was planned in Ideaunch and built in Lovable, an AI app builder. Ideaunch produced the blueprint and the step-by-step build prompts, and Lovable turned them into the working app.
How do you find the first paying users for a niche app?
Start where your buyers already talk. For NMFormula, Ideaunch's market research pointed to Reddit, and Reddit organic posts plus Reddit ads brought in the first users. Today it has 543 users paying $8 a month.
How did Ideaunch help build NMFormula?
Ideaunch validated the demand, planned the features, framework and UI/UX, estimated the build time, wrote the build prompts for Lovable, and identified Reddit as the sales channel. It's now planning the Meta ads campaign.
