Client service

From a personal money tracker to a $5,000 client sale in one week

Salary, side businesses, savings, investments, trades and big life goals, all in different places. Banking apps show transactions, spreadsheets take hours, and neither tells you whether you're on track. Deepesh used Ideaunch to plan one AI tracker that connects all of it and coaches you every month, built it for himself, then turned it into a $5,000 sale for a client.

Deepesh first built this tracker for himself, then customised it for an existing client and sold it to her for $5,000. She now sells it in her circle and offers it as an upsell in her business.

AI finance and trading tracker framework: the problem (money, business and goals scattered, bank apps show transactions not progress) leads to Ideaunch, the brain (shape an accurate tracker, plan and prototype, load 1,000+ trading videos, Warren Buffett's investing principles, monthly memory), then the builder, the hands (MVP built with Claude, then a full web app for the client), then launch and sell (delivered in about a week, sold for $5,000, resold by the client as an upsell).

The problem: money, businesses and goals in different places

Deepesh had a full-time salary, two young side businesses, savings split across banks, a loan, investments, regular trades and long-term goals like a house and a seven-figure net worth. What he didn't have was one place that showed where the money went each month, whether the businesses were growing fast enough to replace the salary, and whether the big goals were still on track.

Spreadsheets were too manual. Banking apps only list transactions. Nothing connected finances, businesses, investments, goals and honest coaching in one place.

Ideaunch shaped the idea and the prototype

Ideaunch started with the idea itself: how accurate a finance and trading tracker can be, and what it needs to coach well instead of just counting. It then planned the whole product and created the prototype: four main sections (Finances, Business, Wealth and AI Coach), each with its own sub-pages, so nothing feels like a wall of fourteen tabs.

Ideaunch also planned how to make the AI coach an expert. More than 1,000 trading videos were loaded into its knowledge, along with Warren Buffett's investing principles, rules and methods. And it planned the memory: the tracker remembers every past month, so each new month is compared against real history, not guesses.

What the tracker does

Finances: income across salary, business and investments, 17 expense categories, the expense-to-income ratio, net savings, and savings targets. Transfers between your own accounts are tagged as neither income nor expense, so topping up from savings never inflates income.

Statement import: upload a bank statement PDF and the AI processes it in three steps. It extracts every transaction as plain lines, categorises them in batches of 100, then validates that key items like salary were found. A single big AI call failed on a 17-page statement with 472 transactions; the chunked approach handles it. Anything unclear goes to a review screen for the user to confirm.

Business, wealth and goals: revenue and customer tracking per business, a product checklist, a portfolio table and chart, a trading journal with win rate and monthly P&L, business and personal goals with progress, a house down-payment plan with savings projections, and a loan EMI schedule. A spending advisor raises instant alerts, with exact amounts, when categories like food, shopping or entertainment pass their limits, with no AI call needed.

The AI monthly review: coaching from facts

Once a month the user fills six short boxes (each business, investments, personal goals, health and habits, and the biggest worry) and clicks one button. Three AI calls follow. The first writes a full review: financial health with a score, business pace, goals, house-goal reality, the biggest threat to the long-term target, wins and an honest verdict. The second scores every goal as on track, at risk or falling behind, with a percentage and a next action. The third writes a 30-day action plan with checkboxes and one non-negotiable task.

The difference from a generic chatbot is the data. Every call is built fresh from that month's real numbers and the saved history, so the coach never needs context and never guesses. A chat with quick-start questions handles the follow-ups.

From a personal tool to a $5,000 sale

Deepesh built the first version with Claude for himself. When he showed an existing client how he managed his money and found ideas for stocks and trading, she loved it. He customised it for her, then built her a full web app, delivered in about a week, and sold it for $5,000.

She now uses it with her own circle and sells it in her business as an upsell. Deepesh kept improving his own version too.

Ideaunch came up with how accurate a finance and trading tracker could be, made the plan and the prototype, and showed me how to make the coach an expert, with 1,000+ trading videos and Warren Buffett's principles behind it. It remembers every month, so you can really analyse your progress. My client loved it, I sold it to her for $5,000, and it took about a week.

Questions people ask

What is an AI finance and trading tracker?

It's one dashboard for income, expenses, savings, businesses, investments, trades and goals, with an AI coach that reviews your real numbers every month, scores your goals and writes a 30-day action plan.

How does AI read a bank statement PDF accurately?

In steps, not one big call. First it extracts every transaction as plain text, then categorises them in batches of 100, then checks that key items like salary were found. Unclear transactions go to the user to confirm.

How was the AI coach trained on trading?

Ideaunch planned its knowledge: more than 1,000 trading videos plus Warren Buffett's investing principles, rules and methods, combined with the user's own monthly data and history.

Can you sell a custom AI tool to a client?

Yes. This tracker started as a personal tool, was customised for an existing client in about a week, and sold for $5,000. The client now resells it to her circle as an upsell.
